ECOLOGI

Hawksbeck Annexes, a leading provider of premium garden annexes in the UK, partners with Ecologi, a climate-focused platform that funds global reforestation and carbon reduction projects. This collaboration marks a major step forward in Hawksbeck’s sustainability journey, reinforcing our long-standing commitment to environmentally conscious building practices.

Sustainability has always been at the heart of Hawksbeck’s ethos. Our company is well-known for using Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs) in the construction of our annexes.

SIPs are a building method that not only delivers superior thermal performance but significantly reduces energy consumption over the life of the building.

SIPs are airtight, highly insulated, and precision-engineered to reduce waste during construction, making them far more eco-friendly than traditional timber or brick-and-mortar builds.

Through our partnership with Ecologi, Hawksbeck is now actively contributing to carbon offsetting initiatives and tree planting schemes across the globe.

For every annexe sold, Hawksbeck will fund the planting of trees and the support of verified climate projects that reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

These projects range from restoring forests in Kenya and mangroves in Madagascar, to supporting renewable energy solutions in developing countries. Every contribution is measurable, traceable, and designed to have a lasting, positive impact on the environment.

This initiative means that Hawksbeck customers are not only investing in a beautiful, functional garden annexe – we’re also investing in the planet.

The environmental benefit of each project will now be twofold: a highly energy-efficient space for modern living, and a tangible contribution to reducing atmospheric CO₂.

The partnership also offers a new level of transparency and accountability.

Ecologi provides detailed records of every project funded, and customers can see the real-world impact of their purchase – whether it’s the number of trees planted or the tonnes of carbon offset.

It turns a home improvement decision into a meaningful act of climate responsibility. Click here to view our Ecologi profile.
