Annexe Door Choices

When selecting a door for the entrance to your annexe, several factors should be considered to ensure functionality, aesthetics, and security. As each annexe is bespoke to your property, all of Hawksbeck Annexe’s doors and windows are entirely bespoke to ensure the correct size and colour to best suit your property.

Door choices can include bi-folding, French and sliding doors, which are available in a wide range of colour choices.

Annexe Cladding Choices

Hawksbeck Annexe’s offer a range of exterior cladding choices for your new annexe. Each cladding material has its own advantages in terms of durability, maintenance requirements, and aesthetics.

Connections To Your Annexe

Hawksbeck Annexes offer project managers to oversee the entire annexe building process. From your initial free site survey to design and build, Hawksbeck Annexes will be with you every step of the way. This includes the complete preparation stage, involving ground works and connection of soil pipe waste, plumbing and electrics.

As a full turnkey service, we also clean and prepare the site to remove the stress and hassle of coordinating separate tradesmen. Hawksbeck Annexes will assist in lighting and flooring choices as well as any additional elements such as air-conditioning, telephone connections and high-speed cabling for internet.

Clear The Site

We remove any existing outbuildings, sheds, and any other obstacles such as shrubs and plants to fully clear your site and to ensure the team can enter safely to construct your annexe.

Electrical Connection

We offer a fully certified mains connection from your consumer unit within your house to the new consumer unit in your garden annexe. We use armoured cabling, either in a trench with other services, or in most cases, this will be secured to your boundary wall.

Connectivity

If you’re using your annexe as a permanent residence for an elderly parent or an independent young adult, connectivity is a crucial element. We offer hard wired armoured Cat6 cable between your garden annexe and internet router. We also offer hard wired Coax cable to your Sky Dish, or TV aerial.

Water & Soil Pipe Connection

If you’d like your annexe to include a bathroom or kitchen, you’ll need water and waste connections. To make things easier, we offer a full service to ensure everything is connected and ready to use, so you don’t have to worry about co-ordinating or bringing in separate trades.
